It is kinda nice that WoT and WoWP share free xp and gold, but most players just use that to get gold and free xp from events in WoWP to use in WoT, heh. They’ve been doing updates, but it doesn’t have a large or growing playerbase. ![]() Now, when it comes to planes… World of Warplanes is on life support. For a while, it was easy to recommend WoWs for naval warfare fans, but lately their monetization has been a bit unhinged and they have been making a lot of poor balancing choices with their attempts to introduce submarine warfare into the game. I haven’t messed with the naval side of WT, but I’ve heard it isn’t that great… at least as of a couple years ago when I last thought about trying it. WoT is complicated in its own right, but the RNG/arcadey nature of it takes the edge off and gives it a bit more of a casual, approachable feel in my opinion.
